Captain Mario Posse has been surveying yachts in the South Florida area for many years. With over 30 years of experience in the marine industry, he possesses the expertise to thoroughly inspect both power boats and sailing vessels, ensuring a meticulous attention to detail. This gives his clients the confidence that through his comprehensive survey reports, they will gain a complete understanding of any issues with their vessel, whether they are considering a purchase or assessing its seaworthiness for insurance underwriting purposes. Captain Posse's long history in the marine industry began as the dockmaster of a busy marina 30 years ago. He later owned and operated his own charter fleet, overseeing all maintenance and gaining familiarity with troubleshooting various design, electrical, plumbing, and engine issues, including both diesel and gasoline engines. He also has experience inspecting running and standing rigging while staying informed about all necessary marine codes (A.B.Y.C., N.F.P.A., and Federal C.F.R.’s). In addition to managing his charter company, he has served as a delivery captain and taught sailing and powerboating to new owners. Capt. Posse brings his invaluable hands-on knowledge to the surveying field, ensuring that his clients have the necessary information to make informed decisions about all their boating needs.
